Since 2021, THE Landing has been providing free professional level classes to dancers across Central Virginia and the Richmond metro area. We not only want to keep dance alive and assessable but also encourage every dancer that walks through our doors to discover their true potential and calling as a dancers and artists. Pre-Professional Program -
THE Landing’s junior company program allows aspiring dancers ages 13-18 a unique opportunity to train and perform with professional dancers in the RVA area.
Our directors, have created safe, inspiring and influential learning and performance opportunities to guide and nurture young dancers during this influential time in their dance journey. THE Landing will post audition opportunities open classes here on our website and also on our social media platforms.
Trainee Program (students grades 9-12) -
Our trainee program goes beyond the dance floor. Through the direction and guidance of our professional staff, trainees are prepared beyond their technical abilities in order to fully prepare them for collegiate and professional auditions and work. Dancers are selected through an audition and application process each season.
Alumni from our current trainee company program are currently studying at University of Arizona, Pace University, Point Park University, Elon University, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
